LaunchPad accelerates entrepreneurs and start-ups through a comprehensive program that quickly identifies and connects great people, capital and technology. In short, LaunchPad starts start-ups and is a "virtual accelerator" that provides critical, individualized, and value-added support to early stage biomedical, technology and cleantech companies.  OCTANe helps match promising ideas, concepts, and businesses with proven resources: technical assistance, business development, IP patent assistance, regulatory aid, market research, management talent, introductions to capital sources and much more.

LaunchPad is keeping office hours at UC Irvine.  Researchers, faculty, staff and students are welcome to stop by for complimentary consulting on how to transfer their technology into the marketplace.  Luis Vasquez, LaunchPad Director, will be on campus every Thursday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. in Room 4106, Calit2 Building.
